Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RMVR: AI Object Removal ("RMVR," "the App"), developed by Anton (Batumi, Georgia). By using RMVR, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use RMVR, or meet your jurisdiction's minimum digital age of consent, whichever is higher.
- If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian should review these Terms before you use the App.
- In EU member states where the digital age of consent exceeds 13 (e.g., 16 in Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, France), parental consent is required for users below that age to use cloud AI features.
2. Description of Service
RMVR is a photo editing application that uses artificial intelligence to modify images you choose:
- Remove: Delete unwanted objects, people, text, or blemishes from photos using inpainting AI.
- Background: Replace or modify photo backgrounds.
- AI edit: Apply text-prompted modifications to photos ("remove the wires", "brighten the sky", etc.).
- Expand: Extend image borders via outpainting.
AI Disclosure (EU AI Act Article 50): RMVR uses generative AI to modify your photos. Cloud edits are performed by Google Vertex AI (Imagen 3) for object removal, background replacement, and expansion, and by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash Image for text-prompted edits. Simple edits can run entirely on your device using the LaMa open-source inpainting model via Core ML. AI-generated modifications may introduce artifacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected content. Edited photos must not be used to misrepresent reality, deceive others, or create non-consensual content.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
3.1 Free Tier
The free tier includes 3 cloud AI edits (lifetime), then 3 on-device edits per day. Edits in the free tier include a subtle "RMVR" watermark on the result.
3.2 RMVR Pro Subscription
RMVR Pro unlocks unlimited on-device edits, removes watermarks, and grants access to cloud AI features (Background replacement, AI edit, Expand) with the following cloud quotas:
- Weekly: $4.99 per week — 60 cloud edits per 7 days, with a 3-day free trial for new users.
- Annual: $34.99 per year — 450 cloud edits per 365 days.
- Welcome Offer (Weekly with 7-day trial): $4.99 per week with a 7-day free trial, offered once to eligible new users.
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase. Actual pricing shown in the App is authoritative. Cloud quotas apply only to cloud AI edits; on-device edits are unlimited for Pro subscribers.
3.3 Free Trial Terms
- Free trials are offered once per Apple ID per product.
- You will not be charged during the free trial period.
- Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price.
- Cancelling the trial gives you free access until the trial period ends.
3.4 Auto-Renewal Terms
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
3.5 Cancellation
- Cancel anytime: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > RMVR Pro
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused time
- Refund requests: contact Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com
3.6 EU Right of Withdrawal
EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). By confirming your subscription purchase in the App Store, you acknowledge that digital content delivery begins immediately and you consent to waive the 14-day withdrawal period as permitted under Article 16(m). You may still cancel auto-renewal for future periods at any time.
4. AI-Generated Content
4.1 Nature of Content
- Edited photos produced by RMVR are generated by AI models and may contain artifacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected details.
- AI outputs are not a substitute for professional photo retouching, forensic analysis, or evidence-grade image processing.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of any AI-generated edit for any particular purpose.
4.2 Content Ownership
- You retain full ownership of photos you upload and of the edited results.
- You may use edited photos for personal or commercial purposes, provided your use complies with applicable law, third-party rights, and these Terms.
- We retain a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (i.e., transmitting the photo to Google Vertex AI or Gemini to perform the requested edit). This license terminates as soon as the edit is complete.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models. Google Vertex AI and Gemini do not use your photos to train their models per their respective API data-usage terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RMVR to:
- Create, process, or share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this is strictly prohibited and will be reported to NCMEC and law enforcement where applicable.
- Create non-consensual intimate imagery, revenge content, or deepfakes of real individuals without their explicit permission.
- Remove or alter watermarks, copyright notices, or other attribution on photos you do not own.
- Impersonate others, commit fraud, or mislead others about the authenticity of photos.
- Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or incites violence.
- Edit photos of minors in ways that sexualize, exploit, or endanger them.
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary models or credentials from the App.
- Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to submit requests to our servers.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its AI capabilities as a separate service.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your access and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
6. Content Moderation and Reporting
- Google Vertex AI and Gemini apply their own content safety filters. Requests that violate Google's generative AI safety policies will be rejected.

- Reports are reviewed within 24-48 hours.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes data collection, use, and protection in detail, including the Apple Guideline 5.1.2(i) disclosure of all third-party AI providers. By using RMVR, you agree to the Privacy Policy. You can revoke consent to cloud AI processing at any time in Settings → Data & Privacy → Revoke AI Processing Consent, or use on-device-only mode from Settings → Removal engine.
8. Intellectual Property
- The RMVR application, design, code, branding, and assembled AI pipeline are the intellectual property of Anton.
- "RMVR" is a trademark of Anton.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App itself.
- LaMa (the on-device model) is open-source under the Apache 2.0 license. Google Vertex AI and Gemini are services of Google LLC, used under their respective terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED EDITS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS, THEIR AVAILABILITY, OR THE QUALITY OF THEIR OUTPUTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anton from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights; or (d) any content you submit through the App.
12. Termination
- You may stop using RMVR at any time by deleting the App from your device.
- We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, without notice.
- Local data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear history.
- Active subscriptions continue until cancelled through the App Store. Refer to Section 3.5 for cancellation procedures.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country). Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then through courts of competent jurisdiction.
EU/EEA residents: Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence, including those under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights) and Directive 93/13/EEC (Unfair Contract Terms). Any dispute may also be brought before the courts of your country of residence.
14. Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be communicated via an updated "Last updated" date and, where practicable, an in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement constitute the entire agreement between you and Anton regarding the use of RMVR.
