Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pongr: Table Tennis Scoreboard ("Pongr," "the App"), developed by Anton (Batumi, Georgia). By using Pongr, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Description of Service

Pongr is an offline scoreboard for table tennis (ping-pong). It provides:

Big, glanceable scoring for singles and doubles, with automatic serve rotation, deuce, and change-of-ends handling;
Match history and head-to-head statistics, stored on your device;
An optional Apple Watch companion, Home Screen widgets, and a Lock Screen Live Activity;
Customisation such as themes, player names, and match rules.

Pongr is a scorekeeping utility for recreational and informal play. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the ITTF or any official table-tennis body, and it is not intended for officiating sanctioned competition.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

2.1 Pongr PRO

The core scoreboard is free. Pongr PRO unlocks additional features (such as Apple Watch scoring, history & stats, Live Activity, all themes, doubles, and custom rules). Pongr PRO is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (for example, weekly and annual options) and may also be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase.

Exact prices are shown in the App before you confirm any purchase and may vary by region and currency. The price displayed in the App at the moment of purchase is authoritative. Any promotional or discounted price (such as a free trial) is shown clearly at the point of purchase and applies only as described there.

2.2 Auto-Renewal Terms

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the displayed price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase. A one-time Lifetime purchase, where offered, does not auto-renew.

2.3 Cancellation & Refunds

Cancel anytime: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Pongr PRO
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds for unused time
Purchases are processed by Apple; request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com
Subscription entitlements are managed via RevenueCat on our behalf; you can restore a prior purchase from within Pongr's Settings

2.4 EU Right of Withdrawal

EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). By confirming your purchase, you acknowledge that digital content delivery begins immediately and you consent to waive the 14-day withdrawal period as permitted under Article 16(m). You may still cancel auto-renewal for future periods at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary content or credentials from the App;
Circumvent the paywall or other purchase / security measures;
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App as a separate service.

4. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled. In short: your scores, history, names and settings stay on your device, and the only data that leaves your device is what's needed to process an in-app purchase (via Apple and RevenueCat). By using Pongr, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The Pongr application, design, code, and branding are the intellectual property of Anton.
"Pongr" is a trademark of Anton. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING YOUR OWN RECORD OF ANY SCORE THAT MATTERS TO YOU.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST DATA OR LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Termination

You may stop using Pongr at any time by deleting the App from your device.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, without notice.
Local data remains on your device until you delete the App; active subscriptions continue until cancelled through the App Store.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country). Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then through courts of competent jurisdiction.

EU/EEA residents: Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence, including EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights) and Directive 93/13/EEC (Unfair Contract Terms).

10. Changes to These Terms

Material changes will be communicated via an updated "Last updated" date and, where practicable, an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA) constitute the entire agreement between you and Anton regarding the use of Pongr.
