These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PCOS Bae: PCOS Nutrition & Cycle ("PCOS Bae," "the App"), developed by Anton (Batumi, Georgia). By using PCOS Bae, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Health disclaimer (please read): PCOS Bae is a general wellness and informational tool. It does not provide medical, nutritional, diagnostic, or healthcare advice, and is not a substitute for a physician, endocrinologist, or registered dietitian. PCOS is a medical condition that should be diagnosed and managed with a qualified professional. Calorie targets, cycle-phase guidance, PCOS-friendliness scores, and symptom/mood tracking are estimates. Cycle information is not a contraceptive or fertility method — especially important with PCOS, where cycles are often irregular. Consult a qualified professional before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or have any history of disordered eating.
1. Eligibility
- PCOS Bae deals with body weight, nutrition, and reproductive-health information and is intended for adults aged 18 or older.
- If you are under 18, please do not use the App without the involvement of a parent, guardian, or healthcare provider.
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
2. Description of Service
PCOS Bae is a nutrition, cycle and symptom companion for women with PCOS. It provides:
- AI meal scanning — photograph or describe a meal and receive an estimated name, portion, calories, protein/carbs/fat, fiber, added sugar, and PCOS-friendliness scores (blood-sugar / insulin, inflammation, hormone support) with a short reason and a gentle swap suggestion.
- Daily nutrition targets — calorie and macro goals computed on-device (Mifflin–St Jeor).
- Tracking — an irregular-aware cycle calendar, period logging, PCOS symptom logging, mood check-ins, and body-neutral weight tracking.
- Learn & prepare — PCOS lessons, recipes, workouts and supplement information, plus a doctor-visit report you can export as a PDF.
- Manual entry, recents/favorites, portion adjustment, and the ability to edit or delete any entry — all stored on your device.
AI Disclosure (EU AI Act Article 50): PCOS Bae uses generative AI to estimate the nutrition and PCOS-friendliness scores of your meals, produced by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash via Google Vertex AI. AI outputs are approximate, may contain inaccuracies, are a wellness aid only, and are not a guarantee of any weight, hormonal, or health outcome. Always use your own judgement and edit values as needed.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
3.1 Free Tier
PCOS Bae is generous: lessons, recipes, workouts, cycle/symptom/mood tracking, and the doctor-report PDF are free. The App includes a limited number of free AI meal scans per day so you can try the scanner. Unlimited AI scans require PCOS Bae Pro.
3.2 PCOS Bae Pro
- Weekly: $7.99 per week — with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Yearly: $49.99 per year — billed annually (our best value versus paying weekly).
- Lifetime: $99.99 one-time — no subscription, no renewal, yours forever.
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase. The pricing shown in the App at the moment of purchase is authoritative.
3.3 Free Trial Terms
- The free trial is offered once per Apple ID per product.
- You will not be charged during the free-trial period.
- Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the displayed price.
- Cancelling during the trial gives you access until the trial period ends.
3.4 Auto-Renewal Terms
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase. The Lifetime option is a one-time purchase and does not auto-renew.
3.5 Cancellation
- Cancel anytime: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > PCOS Bae Pro
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused time
- Refund requests: contact Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com
3.6 EU Right of Withdrawal
EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). By confirming your purchase in the App Store, you acknowledge that digital content delivery begins immediately and you consent to waive the 14-day withdrawal period as permitted under Article 16(m). You may still cancel auto-renewal for future periods at any time.
4. Health & AI Content Disclaimer
- PCOS Bae is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent PCOS or any disease or condition.
- Calorie/macro targets, cycle-phase predictions, projections, PCOS-friendliness scores, and symptom/mood summaries are estimates for general wellness, generated or calculated automatically, and may be inaccurate. They are not personalised medical or dietary advice.
- Cycle and phase information is an estimate only and must not be relied upon for contraception, fertility planning, or any medical decision — particularly because PCOS commonly causes irregular cycles.
- You are responsible for your own health decisions. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything in the App, particularly if pregnant or breastfeeding, managing a medical condition, or with any history of an eating disorder.
- You retain ownership of the photos and text you submit to AI features. We use them only to generate your result; your submissions are not used to train AI models (per Google Vertex AI / Gemini enterprise API terms).
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PCOS Bae to:
- Submit content that is unlawful, harmful to others, or otherwise prohibited under applicable law.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary content, system prompts, or credentials from the App.
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, the free-scan limit, or other security measures.
- Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to submit requests to our servers.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its AI capabilities as a separate service.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your access.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes data collection, use, and protection in detail, including the Apple Guideline 5.1.2(i) disclosure of third-party AI processing. By using PCOS Bae, you agree to the Privacy Policy. Your data is stored on your device; deleting the App removes it.
7. Intellectual Property
- The PCOS Bae application, design, code, branding, illustrations, and assembled AI pipeline are the intellectual property of Anton.
- "PCOS Bae" is a trademark of Anton. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.
- Google Vertex AI and Gemini are services of Google LLC, used under their enterprise API terms. RevenueCat is a service of RevenueCat, Inc.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED ESTIMATES (CALORIES, MACROS, PCOS SCORES, CYCLE PHASE) WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PCOS BAE DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY HEALTH, WEIGHT, HORMONAL, OR NUTRITIONAL OUTCOME AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR DIETARY ADVICE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY HEALTH CONSEQUENCES, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ITS AI-GENERATED OR CALCULATED OUTPUTS. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Anton from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
11. Termination
- You may stop using PCOS Bae at any time by deleting the App from your device.
- We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, without notice.
- Local data remains on your device until you delete the App.
- Active subscriptions continue until cancelled through the App Store (see Section 3.5).
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country). Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then through courts of competent jurisdiction.
EU/EEA residents: Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence, including EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights) and Directive 93/13/EEC (Unfair Contract Terms). Any dispute may also be brought before the courts of your country of residence.
13. Changes to These Terms
Material changes will be communicated via an updated "Last updated" date and, where practicable, an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA) constitute the entire agreement between you and Anton regarding the use of PCOS Bae.
