Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hint: Soulmate Sketch ("Hint," "the App"), developed by Anton (Batumi, Georgia). By using Hint, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Hint
- If you are between 13 and 18, your parent or legal guardian must have reviewed and agreed to these Terms
- In EU member states where the digital age of consent exceeds 13 (e.g., 16 in Germany, Ireland, Netherlands), parental consent is required for users below that age
- By entering your date of birth, you confirm the information is accurate
2. Description of Service
Hint is an entertainment application that uses artificial intelligence to:
- Generate fictional AI portraits of a "soulmate" based on quiz answers
- Provide an AI chat companion simulating conversation
- Generate scenario images (couple portraits, future baby, aged versions)
- Calculate zodiac-based compatibility for entertainment
AI Disclosure (EU AI Act Article 50): All content in Hint is generated by artificial intelligence systems. Portraits are created by OpenAI. Chat responses, text profiles, and compatibility analyses are generated by Google Vertex AI. These are AI systems — not real people. All outputs are fictional and for entertainment only.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
3.1 Free Features
One free soulmate portrait (realistic style), 5 chat messages per day, and 3 daily secrets.
3.2 Hint Pro Subscription
- Weekly: $4.99 per week
- Annual: $39.99 per year ($0.77/week)
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency.
3.3 Auto-Renewal Terms
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
3.4 Cancellation
- Cancel anytime: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No partial refunds for unused time
- Refund requests: contact Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com
3.5 EU Right of Withdrawal
EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). By confirming your subscription purchase in the App Store, you acknowledge that digital content delivery begins immediately and you consent to waive the 14-day withdrawal period as permitted under Article 16(m). You may still cancel auto-renewal for future periods at any time.
4. AI-Generated Content
4.1 Nature of Content
- All AI-generated content is fictional and for entertainment only
- Portraits do not depict real people and must not be used for identification
- Chat responses are from a language model — not professional advice (medical, legal, psychological, financial, or otherwise)
- Zodiac compatibility has no scientific basis
4.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy
AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, artifacts, or unexpected content. We do not guarantee accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content.
4.3 Content Ownership
- You own photos you upload
- AI-generated portraits are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use
- You may share portraits on social media for personal use
- You may NOT use AI content commercially, to deceive others, create deepfakes, or for illegal purposes
- We retain a limited license to process your content solely for providing the Service
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload photos of others without their explicit consent
- Upload photos of minors (under 18) for AI generation
- Generate harmful, illegal, sexually explicit, or deceptive content
- Attempt to generate portraits impersonating real individuals
- Use AI chat for purposes other than entertainment
- Reverse-engineer, extract, or bypass AI systems
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as real photographs
6. Content Moderation and Reporting
- Automated content moderation prevents harmful content generation
- AI chat includes safety guardrails for self-harm, crisis situations, and age-inappropriate content
- Report objectionable content: support@byanton.dev
- Reports reviewed within 24 hours
- We may remove content and restrict access for violations
7. Health and Safety
- The AI companion is entertainment — not a substitute for human relationships
- If experiencing mental health difficulties, contact a qualified professional or crisis helpline
- The AI is programmed to direct distressed users to appropriate resources
- We encourage healthy use and regular breaks
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes data collection, use, and protection. By using Hint, you agree to the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
- The Hint application, design, code, branding, and AI systems are the intellectual property of Anton
- "Hint" and "Soulmate Sketch" are trademarks of Anton
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANTON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Anton from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
- Delete your data anytime via "Delete account" in Profile
- We may suspend access for Terms violations
- Local data remains on your device until you delete the App
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country). Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then through courts of competent jurisdiction.
EU/EEA residents: Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence, including those under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights) and Directive 93/13/EEC (Unfair Contract Terms). Any dispute may also be brought before the courts of your country of residence.
15. Changes to These Terms
Material changes communicated via updated date and in-app notification where practicable. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
16. Severability
If any provision is found invalid, remaining provisions continue in full force.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement constitute the entire agreement.
